Brass Ram

This may very well be the best incarnation from the Nick Badovinus group. The dark upstairs space is beautiful and unpretentious, anchored by a long bar serving up great cocktails. The menu is excellent all around, but the prime rib is some of the best I’ve ever had. Servers are extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Prices are high, but the value is there. Highly recommended.

The Brass Ram is spectacular.... I had no idea what I was walking into as this was a new venue for me and I walked away totally in awe. We had a large party of 15 and the service was fast, friendly and great with suggestions for us... The drinks was perfect and all the food came out just as described and was fresh and hot... When I say hot it was burn your mouth hot and fresh... I have no idea how they actually did this but it was amazing... I think we tried almost every appetizer and even some off menu ones that were suggested by Steve our server... I think we had no less than 7 orders of the wagyu pig in a blankets... so unique and good!!! The entrees were just as good and the prime rib is unlike I had ever experienced with their special sauces!! This entire experience was off the charts and I will most certainly be back very soon. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!!

If you are looking for an upscale steakhouse experience, look no further! The 2nd floor door can be reached by stairs or elevator and has a speakeasy feel. Once inside, you are treated like royalty until you leave! The "Duke" prime rib and the "1836" old fashioned are both a must-have if you want to consider yourself a well traveled Texan. Alex took great care of us, and Chef Matthew came out to shake our hands after our compliments! Must visit! 💯

We had such a great time at the Brass Ram with impeccable service and fantastic food. We liked it so much we are coming back to Dallas for Christmas and taking friends to dinner there. Love it! The ambiance is old school classic steakhouse with all the details just perfect. The prime rib was a masterpiece and I don’t even like Yorkshire pudding, until I had theirs. It was all just delightful.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing and knowledgeable staff, crazy selection of prime ribeye. The Crudo Royale and Caesar salad is a must for apps, the small size is a Texas portion enough to share. We tried the waygu prime ribeye, the duke (another prime ribeye) and the tenderloin filet topped with the seafood kebab which was shrimp-scallop-lobster. The sides are all shareable, only thing I’d skip is the baked potato. Looked delicious but kinda dry and lackluster in flavor.

Our third visit to BR was nothing short of divine. I’m obsessed and will return soon. We ventured the drive from Gunter to Dallas (iykyk) because I was in the mood for damn good prime rib…and friends, I’ll tell ya: Brass Ram did NOT disappoint. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Friendly, attentive staff, seated with no wait from a reservation booked in advance, phenomenally cooked food paired with the best cocktails and wine, and a couple of check-ins from Dennis, the manager. Our wait staff might have been my favorite human on the face of the earth comprised of great recommendations coupled with perfectly timed jokes. He made us feel at home and wanted - the perfect combination for a restaurant of this caliber. Our food came well paced with enough time to chat, enjoy our drinks, and finish apps. The prime rib was TO DIE for and I’m still dreaming of it even still. My family ordered four different cuts and each were prepared perfectly. Needless to say I’m in love and BR has my heart. We look forward to many more returned trips with even more friends and family…because what’s good food without even better company. Well. Freaking. Done, Brass Ram!
